Derek Coleman started working as a photographer in 2001 when he relocated from Sonoma, Ca to San Diego, Ca.

While Derek was working as a photographer he also had a passion and love for food. He started work at the prestigious Georges at the Cove. 

After gaining ground in the culinary world, gathering new ideas and concepts in regards to the way he thought food should be and look. He left the restaurant business to pursue his photography career full time.
